What the website needed to hold together.
An artist website has to give the artwork enough space while still providing useful context for collectors, collaborators, curators, and visitors who want to understand the practice behind the work.
The project also needs an archive-friendly structure so individual works, exhibitions, written material, and future additions can coexist without turning the homepage into an endless gallery.
How the website system was approached.
The presentation uses a restrained editorial system with large artwork, serif typography, generous whitespace, and quiet navigation. The visual hierarchy keeps the art dominant while supporting exhibition history, journal material, and enquiry routes.
Bilingual routes and responsive layouts allow the portfolio to work as both a presentation piece and a practical archive across desktop and mobile.
